PLC Auction

Used Сars from the UAE

When you purchase used cars from the UAE, you become the owner of vehicles with specific characteristics. Our clients choose this market for particular reasons, and we, as a platform providing a full cycle of delivery and customs clearance, will help you evaluate all the features of such a purchase.

Why Cars Are Purchased in the UAE

There are no winters, road salt, or de-icing chemicals in the Emirates. Humidity is low and rainfall is rare. Therefore, used cars from the UAE are most often unaffected by rust. During inspection, you will likely see the paintwork in its original factory condition even on passenger cars manufactured in 2015–2017. This is an objective advantage that is highly valued in the secondary market.

Cars from the United Arab Emirates have either regional (GCC) or American (US) specifications. This is important because for legal registration in the EU, the following will be required:

  • Replacement of glass with European-standard marked glass (E-marking).
  • Adjustment or replacement of lighting equipment to comply with EU regulations.
  • Obtaining a Certificate of Conformity (COC).

Such work is carried out by specialized service centers that provide turnkey services to bring the vehicle into compliance with EU standards. The cost of such work depends on the model and scope.

How to Buy a Car from the UAE on PLC Auction

Platform Registration

To gain access to the auction where vehicles are traded, you create an account on the PLC Auction website. For verification, you need to upload a scan or photo of identity documents (passport or driver’s license). After moderation, your account will be activated, and you will gain access to the catalog of used cars and bidding.

Deposit Payment

To participate in the auction, you must place a deposit — this confirms your serious intention. It will later be used either toward payment for the vehicle itself or toward customs/logistics payments if you decide to import a car from the UAE with our assistance.

Searching for a Vehicle and Participating in Bidding

After registration and deposit payment, you receive full access to the online catalog featuring vehicles and motorcycles for sale. Using filters (price, body type, make, model, year of manufacture, etc.), you select a suitable lot and place a bid. At the end of the auction, if your bid is the highest, you become the winner. If you lose, you return to searching.

Vehicle Payment (Invoice)

After winning the auction, you will receive an invoice for payment. It must be paid within the specified timeframe. After payment, the delivery process begins — the vehicle is transported to the port, loaded onto a vessel (in a container or on deck), and shipped by sea to the customer.

Import from Dubai and Tracking

Upon arrival at the port — unloading, transportation to a designated storage area, customs clearance, and document issuance take place. In your personal account, you can track the vehicle’s location in real time — from auction to delivery.

Customs Clearance and Delivery to the Customer

After arrival at the destination port, the vehicle undergoes customs procedures (2–3 days) and is delivered to the customer at the specified address, including home delivery (delivery and customs clearance terms are discussed individually). The final stage is a technical inspection and registration plate issuance.

Even taking into account all additional expenses, access to the UAE secondary market allows you to purchase a vehicle at a lower price and save up to 20–30% compared to local markets.
